Our services are as follows:

8:30 a.m. - Media
9:30 a.m. - Traditional
9:00 a.m. - Combined Worship with Holy Communion on the 1st Sunday of every month

Seeing it as our mission to freely share the Good News with people from all walks of life, the Union-Congregational Church is very proud to offer two distinct worship styles and experiences. It's hoped there is something for everyone here.

Our Media Service extensively incorporates the use of media--popular music and excerpts from movies--with the understanding that the surrounding culture, its familiar icons, and symbols, carry with them a deep spiritual significance that may or may not be immediately apparent. Our use of the media highlights the theological messages that pervade the broader secular culture. Placing them within a worship context brings them to life meaningfully, facilitating a fresh, new approach to worship. This service runs for approximately half an hour. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. (Note that this service is not offered on Zoom.)

Our Traditional Servicetheologically progressive and inclusive, is liturgically set along with the time-honored and proven Reformed Order of Service that is familiar to the many raised within so-called Mainline Churches. This service includes organ and piano music, and hymn singing, and is enriched by an enthusiastic choir once a month. This service runs for approximately one hour with Holy Communion again being celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. The use of media is occasionally incorporated into our traditional service as well but to a much lesser degree than our Media Service. Our Traditional service is also available on Zoom. Join us either at the 9:30 AM service or on a one service Sunday at 9:00 AM. You can find the Zoom link below.
