Christian Education Committee Updates
Sunday School and Vacation Bible School Information

The Christian Education Committee is all excited about our spring program.  Yes, we are going to have a short spring program on Sunday, May 18th.  The kids are practicing a Song and Dance to present during Children’s Time. We plan to have all the youth in Sunday School and Youth Group participate in this beautiful message to the congregation. Following the presentation, we will head to the back for games and ice cream sundaes.

The committee is also busy working on this year’s Vacation Bible School.  Mark your calendars. It will be held on Friday, June 20th.  The theme is:  “Road Trip - On the Go with God.” We are looking for large cardboard boxes to create cars and gas pumps.  We are also excited to announce that we are once again partnering with Immanuel Lutheran and United Methodist Churches along with the Food Pantry.  During VBS we will be holding a local mission project that ties into our VBS theme. More information to follow on that.

Calling graduates of all levels!  We would like to recognize your accomplishment on Sunday, June 1st.  Please let us know of any graduates in our church that you would like to recognize.  We will have a PowerPoint to music that shows pictures of the graduates and their degrees and where they are headed in the future.
